Giovanna Vazquez Title: Test Kitchen Fellow Education: Jefferson State Community College Location: Montevallo, Alabama Expertise: Nutrition and health, baking and pastry, culinary arts, recipe testing and development, food styling Giovanna Vazquez is a part of Dotdash Meredith's fellowship program, working as a recipe tester and developer at the Birmingham food studio. Since she was a child, Giovanna has had a strong passion for baking, and her newfound interest in health led her to schooling under the culinary nutrition degree. During her culinary education, she received the Jefferson State Spirit of Hospitality & Excellence in Culinary Arts Award.She entered the world of food media in 2022 as an intern for a popular meal planning company, learning the ropes of recipe development and food styling. In order to continue her education in food and hone her culinary skills, she set off to work at one of Palm Beach, Florida’s most prestigious country clubs. There, she practiced and learned an ample amount about traditional French cuisine. She now hopes to continue her culinary education and better her skills as a fellow at Dotdash Meredith.
